Education
Department is committed to providing the best resources for both patients and staff. When a knowledgeable team delivers quality care, it results in successful patient outcomes.
Preoperative Patient Education
Healthcare works best when patients understand their surgery, choices, and are actively engaged in their care. The NWSH education staff has developed classes that focus on being prepared for total joint replacement surgery. Our nurse navigators have collaborated with pharmacists, physical therapists and physicians to create an educational experience that prepares patients for surgery. Nurse navigators continually partner with patients to offer support throughout the trajectory of care.
We offer in-person classes on a weekly basis.
