Prepare For Your Appointment

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to exams for registration.

Ultrasound

Kidney/Renal Ultrasound

Arrive at your appointment with a full bladder. Drink 24-32oz of water 1-1.5 hours before appointment. DO NOT empty your bladder until after your exam.

Pelvic, Bladder or OB Ultrasound

Arrive at your appointment with a full bladder. Drink 24-32oz of water 1-1.5 hours before appointment. DO NOT empty your bladder until after your exam.

Upper Abdomen Ultrasound (Aorta, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, spleen), Liver Elastography, and Renal Artery Doppler

Nothing to eat or drink 8 hours prior to your exam
You may take a sip of water for routine prescribed medications.

Thyroid, Soft Tissue lumps or bumps, Hernia or any Vascular Ultrasound

No special preparation is necessary.

Invasive or Interventional Procedure Ultrasound

You will receive a call with your prep instructions the day before your appointment.
