As a Physician Assistant, my goal has always been to help people. Working in orthopedics, specifically hand to shoulder, I get the opportunity to treat various acute and chronic conditions which ultimately improve patients’ function and quality of life. Through a patient-centered focus, I take the time to listen to patients’ concerns and goals. From there, I utilize shared decision-making to provide an individualized treatment plan, whether that is nonsurgical or surgical, to provide the best care and get patients back to doing what they love. I work collaboratively with our team, as well as with local and regional providers and specialists, to coordinate care for patients.

In addition to seeing patients in clinic, I also assist Dr. Chad Turner in the operating room. It is incredibility rewarding to see a patient improve throughout each phase of their treatment. I believe it is important to understand not only a patient’s condition but also build meaningful relationships to best understand their goals.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband. Getting outdoors and moving your body is one of the best forms of medicine!
