Mary Liter, RN, BSN, MSN, ARNP is an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner with over two decades of experience specializing in pain management and family practice. She earned her Master of Science in Nursing, Family Practice Option from Gonzaga University in Spokane, Washington, following her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lewis-Clark State College in Lewiston, Idaho. She began her nursing journey with an Associate Degree in Nursing from North Central Technical College in Wausau, Wisconsin.
Throughout her career, Mary has dedicated herself to providing compassionate, patient-centered care across diverse clinical settings. She spent more than 20 years focused on chronic pain management—developing a deep understanding of multidisciplinary approaches that include medical, surgical, and alternative therapies such as physical therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acupuncture. Her experience includes assisting in the surgical placement of intrathecal pain pumps and spinal cord stimulators, as well as extensive work in family medicine, hospice, and rural healthcare.
Mary has been recognized for her leadership and commitment to nursing excellence as a Dean’s List honoree at Gonzaga University, recipient of the U.S. Army’s Spirit of Nursing Award, and member of multiple professional organizations, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and the American Society for Pain Management Nursing.
With a lifelong dedication to advancing patient care, Mary combines advanced clinical expertise with genuine compassion—helping patients achieve meaningful improvements in their health and quality of life.
