Dr. Clinton studied at the University of Washington medical school after graduating from Montana State University for his undergraduate degree. He completed medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle. He continued in Seattle completing the University of Washington orthopedic residency as well as the Rick Matsen shoulder and elbow Fellowship, which he completed in 2008.

Dr. Clinton‘s Career has nearly spanned the last 20 years. Initially in Jackson hole Wyoming followed by Hamilton, Montana and has been in Spokane, Washington for the last 11 years. His practice has involved everything general orthopedics to complex trauma. Currently, he enjoys and is focusing purely on complex shoulder, reconstruction, both bony and soft tissue. His passion is for complex total shoulder and revision total shoulder surgeries.

He has been married for 30 years has two sons ages 13 and 16 he enjoys the great outdoor outdoors, including skiing, fishing, rock, climbing, and surfing. But mostly he enjoys spending time with his family doing these activities.
