Dr. Marissa Armstrong, FNP-C is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner with over 4 years of experience in urgent care, providing comprehensive medical services to patients of all ages, from newborns to geriatrics. She specializes in serving underserved communities and has extensive clinical experience in emergency medicine, hospitalist care, pediatrics, orthopedics, and primary care.

Dr. Armstrong earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) in Family Nurse Practitioner studies from Idaho State University in 2019, where she was recognized as a Dean’s List student for her academic excellence. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Lewis-Clark State College, achieved in 2011, and an Associate of Science degree from Boise State University, completed in 2008.

With a strong commitment to patient care and a passion for education, Dr. Armstrong has also served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Idaho State University, mentoring future healthcare professionals. Her scholarly work includes research on improving patient perceptions of emergency department use from primary care offices.
