Pre-Surgical Clinic

Our Pre-Surgical Clinic is designed to make sure you are ready for surgery at NWSH. A Nurse will call before surgery to review your medical history and go over your medications. They will help you understand how to prepare for your surgery, including: what to wear, when to stop eating and drinking, what medications you can or cannot take, and answer any questions that you might have. Your Surgeon may also want you to be seen for Medical Clearance by our Hospitalist. If tests such as EKG or lab work have been ordered for you or are required by our facility due to age or health, they may be completed with us as well and our scheduler will call you to schedule an appointment.
