Dr Kimberly Skalla received her Bachelor of Science in BioHealth with minors in Psychology and Chemistry at Oregon State University. She completed her doctorate at Kent State University College of Podiatric Medicine in Cleveland, Ohio, followed by a three-year foot and ankle surgical residency at Intermountain Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dr. Skalla spent an additional year training, specializing in reconstructive surgery with Northwest Illinois Foot and Ankle Fellowship. Focusing on advanced surgical techniques and procedures such as external fixators for correction of limb deformity, diabetic Charcot reconstruction, custom printed solutions for critical size defects, and surgical repair of peripheral nerve disorders. Dr. Skalla is board-qualified by the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery in both foot and reconstructive rearfoot/ankle. She enjoys hiking and exploring the outdoors of the Pacific Northwest. She is a triathlon runner and is currently training for a marathon.
