Aaron Drapeau is a dedicated Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) with a passion for patient care, clinical education, and medical advancement. Earlier in his career, Aaron gained valuable experience as a Registered Nurse in various roles at Frontier Behavioral Health and Banner Heart Hospital. He worked in critical care and progressive care at Kootenai Health, caring for complex cardiac patients, specifically cardiology patients. Looking ahead, Aaron plans to stay current with trends and practices in medicine by delivering evidence-based care. He has been a provider in the community for 2 years and aspires to take on a leadership role in community practice and further his education with his current role. With a deep commitment to patient care and a clear focus on continual growth, Aaron Drapeau exemplifies the qualities of a compassionate and knowledgeable healthcare provider.
Aaron’s educational journey began at the University of Idaho in Moscow, Idaho, where he earned his Bachelor of Science in Psychology in 2012. His academic excellence during this period earned him a place on the Dean’s List. Eager to pursue a career in healthcare, Aaron transitioned to nursing and obtained his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brookline College in Phoenix, Arizona, in 2017. He was recognized with the prestigious President’s Award and was also named to the Dean’s List during this time. In 2022, Aaron completed his Master of Science in Nursing with a specialization as a Family Nurse Practitioner at Purdue University. This further solidified his commitment to excellence in nursing and patient care. His work with vulnerable populations, including homeless and mentally ill patients, as well as complex cardiac patients has further broadened his expertise in comprehensive healthcare delivery. He has gained valuable experience in family practice and Aaron’s commitment to continuous learning and professional development is reflected in his active membership in organizations like the Society for Collegiate Leadership & Achievement and his involvement as a clinical preceptor for nursing students.
