Katie Jarstad, MS, PA-C is a board certified physician assistant. Katie graduated with her Master of Science from Paci?c University and received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Idaho. Katie began her career as a physician assistant in family medicine in 2005 and has an extensive background in urgent care medicine and industrial medicine.
Her career began in the Silver Valley, where she provided care to generations of families. While in the Silver Valley, she particularly enjoyed caring for families connected with underground mining, as she herself was raised in Elko, Nevada, with connections to mining and agriculture. She was awarded the National FFA Sheep Proficiency award while in college.
She likes her patients to feel they can comfortably communicate their concerns and ask any questions they may have. Her passion is caring for generations of families from birth to elderly. As a former cross country All-State runner and collegiate athletic trainer, she also enjoys working with student athletes and adolescent medicine.
Katie has lived in the community since 1998 with her husband, a local high school teacher at Timberlake High School. Katie enjoys spending her extra time boating, golfing, watching NASCAR, and spending time with friends and family.
